Misha is a London based storyteller and community organiser from Lahore, via Los Angeles. They write and direct films centering South Asian women and queer narratives. Their debut short, Awaaz Oonchi Karo, is currently on the festival circuit, and their next script in development, Rafta, Rafta, is receiving recognition at festivals and script competitions. Misha also works in styling and costume, and spends their free time reading tarot, volunteering at film festivals exploring food spots across the city, and hunting for old desi disco records.
